How will you fill in the blank and complete the statement, “This is the year of…”? Like you, I have my own personal thoughts on that. But at the forefront of all that I desire to do and accomplish is “love.” In all my dealings with people, business or personal, I will endeavor to be kind, honest, and humble; in other words, treating others as I would like to be treated.

Love, and be loved; serve, and be served. Everything else will fall into place, and no good thing will be withheld from you!

I pray that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, and that this holiday season will continue to be one of thanksgiving, peace, and goodwill (Luke 2:14).

I am particularly thankful for the fact that this month – December 27th, to be exact – marks the 2nd anniversary of Spirit of Praise Radio! I started this internet station with the desire to share songs of praise and worship with you and to in some small way provide a conduit for edification and healing. As of this writing, station presets total 768, and my guess for total listening hours is probably around 25,000 (could be more, could be less – but who’s counting? ).

And, you have listened from every state in the US and from countries all over the world…some countries I have never heard of.

Spirit of Praise Radio is not ranked very high on Live365, but your emails from the past as well as your listenership mean more to me than station rank.

On that end, I thank you and praise God for you.

I close this post with a prayer request to you that the Lord would continue to use me and this ministry according to His will and plan. Also, this anniversary means it’s time to renew the Live365 broadcaster account that powers Spirit of Praise Radio. Pray for me that I will be able to afford the costs that will become due at the end of December. I have never asked for support in the past, but if you wish or feel led to make a donation to help this ministry, I certainly welcome it. Perhaps He will even open the door to allow Spirit of Praise Radio to afford an “ad-free” broadcasting plan – that means you will not be subjected to advertising (I have no control over the ads), which sometimes you may find to be objectionable. You will hear nothing but continuous songs of praise.
